Scania SBA111A, Terrängbil 30, is regarded as the best 4x4 truck ever used by the Swedish Army. It was designed and manufactured by Scania AB. The SBA111 was developed to be used under extremely difficult cross-country and weather conditions. It has an 11- liter Scania diesel-engine and a very special transmission including both mechanical and hydraulic gears. The top speed is 90 km/hr. All are equipped with an hydraulic winch.
Scania SBAT111SA, Terrängbil 40 is the 6x6 version. It has the same engine, however it is turbo-charged and has 3 axles.
